What changed for 2027
Compared with 2026, 5 plans are no longer offered in Clark County and 4 are new. The county went from 40 plans to 39. Kaiser Permanente's Senior Care Plus left the county entirely.

How to read the numbers
$0 premium is not $0 cost
36 of the 39 plans charge nothing extra each month. You still pay your Medicare Part B premium, plus copays or coinsurance when you use care. 3 plans charge a monthly premium once drug coverage is included.
The yearly out-of-pocket limit
This is the most you pay in a year for covered, in-network services. Among HMO plans it runs from $900 to $7,100. PPO plans run from $5,500 to $7,150.
HMO, HMO-POS and PPO
An HMO generally covers care from doctors and hospitals in its network. A POS option allows some care outside the network at a higher cost. A PPO lets you go outside the network, usually at a higher cost. There are 19 HMO, 8 HMO-POS and 12 PPO plans.
Drug coverage
34 plans include prescription drug coverage and 5 do not. Where drugs are covered, the yearly drug deductible runs from $0 to $700, and some drug tiers are exempt from it.
Giveback plans
Plan names that include "Giveback" are built to return part of your Part B premium. The amount is in each plan's own benefit summary and is not in this report.
Star ratings
Medicare rates plans from 1 to 5 stars. The ratings shown are the 2026 ratings, because the 2027 ratings are not in the CMS plan file this report is built from. Check Medicare.gov for 2027.
Questions that matter for any plan
This report cannot tell you which plan fits you, because that depends on things it does not cover. Before choosing any plan, check three things: are your doctors and hospitals in its network, are your prescriptions on its drug list, and is your pharmacy in its network.
Timing. The annual enrollment period for Medicare Advantage and drug plans runs October 15 to December 7. A plan chosen in that window starts January 1.
